Privacy Policy

This policy explains how The Unseen Chapter Factory accesses and uses Google user data for the private operation of the owner's documentary channel.

1. Who uses the application

The application is an internal production tool used by the owner of The Unseen Chapter. It does not provide public accounts, public sign-up or services for unrelated users.

2. Google data accessed

After the owner grants permission, the application may access the channel identity, video and channel metadata, YouTube Analytics and Reporting metrics, upload authorization, and the limited YouTube permissions needed to manage owner-approved metadata. A separate notification workflow may use send-only Gmail authorization to deliver operational alerts; it does not read the inbox.

3. How the data is used

Google data is used only to verify the correct channel, upload media approved by the owner, apply explicitly approved title or metadata changes, associate Shorts with the intended long-form video where supported, measure content performance, detect technical failures and send operational notifications.

4. Storage and security

Authorization credentials and production records are stored in access-controlled project infrastructure. Secrets are not placed in public reports or content. The system uses bounded permissions, channel identity checks and change gates designed to prevent unintended publication or metadata changes.

5. Sharing, sale and advertising

Google user data is not sold, used for personalized advertising, rented or shared with unrelated third parties. Infrastructure providers process data only as needed to operate the private workflow. Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

6. Retention and deletion

Operational evidence is retained only as needed for channel production, audit, security and recovery. The owner may request deletion of locally stored Google-derived records and may revoke the application's access at any time from the Google Account connections page.
